Founded in 2000 by Shandrell Clark, The JustBox was birthed out of both personal pain and deep purpose. After being told she could not bear children, Shandrell was blessed with a goddaughter who became her world—and her inspiration. That little girl gave her the strength, courage, and momentum to create something lasting. Today, she is the face of this company and the heart behind every message we share.The JustBox is more than a podcast—it’s a platform for transformation. Based in South Louisiana (225 area), we are a Black woman-owned production and networking company that centers mental health, spiritual growth, youth empowerment, and community storytelling. We are a space where the overlooked become heard, where the broken find strength, and where culture, faith, and truth collide.Shandrell is an open book about her own journey—living with anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder—and uses her life as a vessel to pour into others who may be suffering silently. Her mission is not just to speak for those who can’t, but to encourage those who are trying to find their voice.From raw conversations about healing and faith to fresh interviews with entrepreneurs, entertainers, and rising artists, The JustBox bridges generations, cultures, and communities.
